The City of Florence maintains four city parks, a municipal pool, and a baseball diamond.

Moses Shane Memorial Park - located at the intersection of Highways 50 and 77, this park is named for the first settler in Marion County. This park serves as an attractive and peaceful setting for travelers along the highway. Running water is available, as well as three picnic areas.

Unity Park - located at the corner of 6th Street and Marion, this park is a haven for kids, teenagers and adults. There is playground equipment, as well as a basketball and tennis court and horseshoe pits.

Veterans Park - located at the corner of 4th Street and Main, this park provides a peaceful retreat right in the downtown area. A covered picnic area with running water sits at one end, with a playground for kids at the other end. The "American Flag Wall" is at the north end of the park.

Grandview Park - located at the south end of Grandview Drive and off Highway 77, this park is a favorite place for many residents to have family gatherings, weddings, picnics or just get out for a quiet afternoon. Nestled among the trees, there is a large covered picnic area built with the native limestone, which has plenty of picnic tables, and a charcoal grill, running water and restroom facilities. There is also a variety of playground equipment for the kids.
This park can be reserved by calling our City Clerk at (620) 878-4296.

City Pool - located at the corner of 8th Street and Barker, it is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day weekend.

Baseball Diamond - located at the North end of Barker Street, it has bleachers, a concession stand and restroom facilities.
